Our number one goal is to ensure our customers have a fantastic time! We take pride here in Concord as trendsetters for the Escape Room Industry and work hard to make sure your time is enjoyable. This is what we do:
Cellphones: We allow cellphones in our escape rooms.
Clues: No limit on clues. If you want no clues or 20 clues, it does not bother us.
Gamemaster’s Job: We are here to help facilitate YOUR game. Whether it is to help guide you, let you know you are doing something wrong, or provide some nudges to keep you on track. Some Escape Rooms have a Gamemaster vs. Customer mentality – not here.
Children: Sure! I hate to say this, but many times kids can be smarter than adults. All of our games are children friendly.
Escape Rooms are interactive games where you and others are “locked” in a themed room. The room contains a number of puzzles, locks, riddles, and clues that you need to piece together. Opening certain items reveal other items that need to be solved – all of which eventually lead you to the final clue on how to exit “escape” the room.
You can play this game with family, friends, colleagues, or even strangers. Some businesses host corporate games for team building exercises.
No, the entrance door is never locked, but the goal is to escape through the locked exit door. VIEW VIDEO HERE
All reservations are made online. On the menu bar there is a link to BOOK NOW where you can see days and time slots available, as well as prices. This is where you can make your reservations.
We do not recommend attempting walk-in booking. During the week our schedules are based on customer bookings and with no customer bookings we usually close early. If you want to play one of our games we suggest to book as early as possible.
You may cancel a game, but we do not provide refunds. When you receive your confirmation email you will be provided a link to your reservation, where you will be able to change your game to another day as long as there is enough notice. Last minute changes can be difficult. In some instances, we may elect to provide a gift certificate.
When you reserve a game at a particular time you are locked into that time. Our games start every 2 hours: 12, 2, 4, 6 and 8 pm. We do not allow games to start at other hours, such as 1 or 3 pm. We generally do not allow for you to change your time either except in certain circumstances and also depending on availability. The sooner you can tell us about a conflict the better chance you have of changing the time or game. Last minute changes (4 hours or less) is typically not allowed.
Yes! Escape Rooms are not a dangerous activity even though they may sound scary. You are never actually locked in any room. The entrance door to each room is always kept unlocked so you can leave for any reason, such as to use the restroom. All of our rooms have window access and are located on the ground floor. All games and spaces are monitored by cameras and microphones.
None of our rooms are scary. There are no live actors and there are no items that pop out at you. Our rooms are of good size too, so those who are claustrophobic should have nothing to worry about.are never actually locked in any room. Not really. We design our rooms in such a way that you are guided through a step by step process. Now, some puzzles may make you think quite a bit, and that is where working with others comes in. Working with others can help everyone come up with different ideas on how to solve the more difficult puzzles. This method helps you think outside the box and come up with a lot of ideas. After a few puzzles you start to learn what kind of thinking is required.
Not really, but you should be able to bend, sit, kneel, and stand with relative ease. This does not mean you can not play, but you may not be able to complete the game if you played by yourself. We do our best to make the environment as accessible as possible. Also, due to the nature of the game, it may be required in some cases for you to leave the safety exit door instead of the escape door.
Some escape rooms are more complicated than others. We do our best to offer some game rooms that are easier. For children under 16, we recommend a parent or guardian to play too. For children under 14, a parent must play along. Games are designed for adults; however, children 10 and older can play and typically do very well. Children under 10 may not appreciate or be able to understand the puzzles.
Sorry, but we do not allow alcohol on the premises in any of the areas.
No food or drink are allowed in the room. Furthermore, the bringing of things such as cupcakes or cakes are not allowed in the lobby either.
Unfortunately, we no longer offer a party room space.
All Escape Rooms are similar in that you are usually in a room and trying to solve puzzles and unlock items using traditional locks and keys. Some Escape Rooms utilize more locks and keys while others may use more technology and electronics. Our games here range between rooms that utilize a mix of locks and keys and technology, and some rooms that utilize all technology. The common terminology used to describe the types of games are Generation 1, Generation 2, and Generation 3 games.
Generation 1: Traditional style locks and keys. Puzzles that are more straight forward and not requiring any type of technology. Sometimes UV Lights are used.
Generation 2: Includes locks and keys, but it also incorporates technologies that can make the game more exciting. The use of sensors, magnets, RFID, motors, etc… may be used in such ways that placing certain items in certain places, or putting things in certain orders may unlock items.
Generation 3: Heavy use of technology and the majority of locked items require solving puzzles that utilize electronics to run. This may include items like telephones, lights, exact order placement, and buttons.
My husband and I just completed Escape Room Concord’s Enigma room as the third stop on a tour of escape rooms in the area. We have completed 25-30 rooms in the past 3 years, and are constantly looking for something novel to wow us. Boy oh boy, did this wow us! We just chatted through all the rooms we have ever done, and The Enigma was at the top of both of our lists. ... The room itself what very cleverly designed. There were absolutely no distractions or extraneous props...There’s also plenty to fill your full time - we got out with only about 7 seconds to spare. Thrilling! Overall: Definitely make the trip to Concord. It’s well worth it! This room reset the bar for escape rooms for us. It’s going to take some effort for another room to dethrone The Enigma! (edited)
We will do it again! First time, with my mother, husband, and 14 year old son,and we had an absolute blast! We recommend reserving the whole room for your first experience! We are grateful to have had the assistance we needed to figure out how to find clues! 36 seconds left when we escaped! A must do!
Very fun, makes you use your brain in a fun way. Our group age ranged from 12 to 63. All contributed in different ways to solve the puzzles. Definitely would do it again. We all want to try the other rooms.
The Library Room gave our team of seven a greatly entertaining time. The puzzles, especially, were intricate and first rate constructions that exceeded any I've seen in other escape room facilities. The furnishings were beautiful, the clues challenging and everyone had a very good time, from age 9 to 70. All that I'd seen in other escape rooms was surpassed by Concord's thoughtful setup and surprising mechanics. We are so happy that we took the challenge and hope others enjoy this as much as we did.
The Library was a challenging and fun time. The staff was wonderful and provided helpful hints whenever we got a little “lost”! Everyone in our group had a great time and everyone contributed to solving the puzzles. Definitely will try one of the other rooms in the future.
This place was great! Very friendly hosts, decent prices for a fun night out and definitely challenging. We were worried that it may not be well-executed, but this place exceeded our expectations. We WILL return. We did a couples night out, six adults, but on our next visit we will bring the kids...aged 10+. They’d love it. Easy to find and very clean.
The rooms are very creative and challenging. We’ve done rooms in Manchester NH and Portland Maine. This is one of our favorites! Lots of puzzles to solve!
I have been twice now. With a youth hockey team and with my family. Everyone agreed left we need to go back. Love this place! Friendly staff and challenging puzzles.
Our group had a great time working our way through and completing "The Enigma" And true to its name, there were puzzles wrapped in puzzles wrapped in puzzles. This was an incredible experience and really gets everyone working together and excited to find and solve the next puzzle. It's a definite recommendation in a city that is in need of more fun things to do.
This was our second time going to an escape room as a team building/fun exercise. The theme was creative, and the room was clean and well decorated. We solved the puzzle with a little guidance from our host and had a lot of fun in the process.
This was my first experience with an escape room, and I will be back. The owner is friendly and is very good at sending in clues (via a tv monitor) just before your group gets too frustrated. We went as an office, and it was a great opportunity for everyone to work together. This would also be wonderful for groups with a variety of ages and abilities. Lots of cool puzzles (and I am not a puzzler) with something that fits every interest or ability. Others in my group had been to other escape rooms. All agreed this was the nicest and cleanest and the best experience.
Great group activity! The owners are super friendly and help make the experience memorable even with a young group. We will absolutely return!!!
First time doing one of these. 5 of us went here and had a blast! It was awesome working together to get out. We were given a starting point and away we went. Lots of yelling out to each other for instructions as there were 3 rooms involved. We scrambled to work when we got a hint and got out with 1:19 to spare. The music built up toward the end which made it nerve-wracking but exciting. Will absolutely go again.
This was great for ladies night out. Coming with a diverse group of girls, different backgrounds, different interests, we all had a great time. The place was accommodating to us even though we might have been loud. The staff was fun and sarcastic in a playful way. Truly a great idea for a group of friends.
We did the Library earlier in 2017 with a larger group and it was fun! In December, a group of us came back for Sanctuary and were not disappointed! Our group of friends really enjoys Room escapes and Concord Escape Room is a GREAT one. Beautiful attention to detail, even upon entering the waiting room and the puzzles are clever and unique. If you’re on the fence about escape rooms or a seasoned pro- check out this place!
We stayed in Concord for a night and were looking for something fun to do. This was it. We have done this type of activity before and always enjoyed it. My son and I played with 6 members of another family with young adults and older folks. The puzzle was great and it was fun to interact with people trying to figure it out. The owners were beyond nice and would go back anytime. I felt it was a good value and enjoyable Friday or anytime fun.
We rented a private "Sanctuary Room" over the holidays....What a blast!!! Greeted by the owner, and given instructions.... NOT scary or claustrophobic at all, but lots of math, symbols, and thinking! it was hard, but so much fun to see family laughing and figuring it out!!! The room was 75 minutes and we made it out with 5 minutes to spare!!! SOOO much fun! DO IT!!!!
Myself, my husband, daughter and her fiance did "the library" for daughter's birthday. We were teamed with 4 other ladies. Everyone had a good time, and everyone contributed to the "escape". Overall we had fun and met some very nice people. It was our first escape room experience, and was challenging but not overwhelming. We will go again sometime!
We wanted to do something different for our ladies’ night birthday celebration, so we checked out the Concord Escape Room. We chose the Sanctuary, which had high quality props, intriguing puzzles, and used multiple rooms. It took all five of us to work out the clues and we escaped with seconds to spare. The staff had a good sense of humor and were friendly and kind. I highly recommend checking out the Concord Escape Room!is.
Oh my gosh we had so much fun at the Escape Room in Concord New Hampshire. This was our second trip to the facility and the customer service is outstanding. LOVED the decor and props - especially in the Sanctuary.
